Some have raised a question about how Albert Aylor chose to refer to himself - whether as Albert Aylor or J. Albert Aylor.  

The question comes from the existence of envelopes printed with "J. Albert Aylor."  Below is an example of such an envelope.

The best surmise is that these represent a short-lived attempt by Aylor's son, Jake, to re-establish the Aylor furniture business upon Aylor's death.
